Well hello there! 8:18PM on a Tuesday as I type this down. How was your weekend? Let me tell you about mine.
I had to buy cake for Nanay (Mark’s grandma) because it was her birthday last Saturday. So Mark and I had breakfast first at Jollibee and waited for the mall to open before we could buy cake at Red Ribbon! We met a viewer while having breakfast and she was so sweet!!! Thanks so much Kea!! Kea was with her brother. They were so nice to us! I love meeting my viewers!
After getting the cake, we took a van from Manila to Cavite, went over to Nanay’s house to celebrate her birthday with the family! I love all the food we had!
I forgot what the other viands were called but my particular favorite is Amber’s pancit malabon!!! The igado was soooo good too! HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANAY! (Hehehe I wish she could read this!)Lunch was so filling! I also got to see Baron! Mark’s beautiful nephew and got to play with him. He is so adorable. He’s growing so fast, too! I was glad to spend the few hours with Tita Vivian as well before she flew back to Singapore. :)
We left late afternoon and I began my 3-4 hour malling at SM Dasmarinas while I wait for Mark’s class to end. I was supposed to stay at Nanay’s house, but I wanted to roam around SM Dasma as I haven’t done that and I rarely visit Cavite! Oh man, that was so much fun. I’m the type of person who can walk around the mall for hours and hours!!! I walked straight for 3 hours, sat down to eat at Ted’s La Paz Batchoy (omg so yummy) Didn’t know there was a batchoy place there!! Ahhh my hunger was satisfied! Do you love batchoy, too??
After checking out almost all the clothing stores, I ended up buying a top from For Me!!! I was utterly sad when they closed down their branch at SM Manila. Apparently, they were not selling much in that area. Heck, I always go there to check out their stuff!!! But anyway, I love the blue top that I got. It’s super comfy, super soft and flowy. It’s what I’ll be wearing on Sunday when I fly to Davao for work.
I also stopped by Candy Corner to buy candies! I particularly liked the Sea Salt Choco Balls!!! Salt + chocolate = HEAVEN! Saltiness and sweetness just go so well together!!!
Mark arrived at around 7PM with his friend Jassem and we accompanied Jassem to the store where he bought a 3TB hard drive. Yes. 3TB! Apparently, Jassem’s into making movies! Lots of them. Which is why he needs more memory! It’s great that Mark himself, and some of his friends have a lot of knowledge about techy stuff. I have them to run to with my techy problems! More votes go to the Macbook Pro. And I’ll have it before the year ends! *yaaay!
The night ended and it was as usual the beautiful, 0% noise, non-airconditioned environment I look forward to every once a month. I’d choose the province over Manila any time! Manila is just too chaotic…most of the time. In the province, there’s not one bit of craziness.
Sundaaaay came and I woke up at 1PM. Not a surprise to me! Haha that’s 1 hour early than my usual waking time which is 2PM! I immediately showered and had brunch with Mark’s family. I love his mom and dad and brothers. They’re so fun to be with.
Tito drove us to Trece Martires because I wanted to try this chami that Mark has been telling be about the past weeks!!! I forgot the name of the place but omggg the sweet and spicy chami was incredible! IT WAS SO GOOD! Only PHP60.00 for this plate! I forgot to take a photo, but we took home a PHP400-bilao for the family to eat for dinner. We also made dynamites for dinner! (Green sili wrapped in lumpia wrapper filled with ham and cheese) Oh yes. *Say, why did u NOT take photos…tsk.
The night ending with Mark driving me to Banahaw Heals Spa! We had the Ventusa massage which left circular marks on my back. And to tell you honestly…
I DID NOT LIKE IT. I WASN’T ABLE TO RELAX AT ALL. THE MASSEUSE’S HAND STROKES WERE TOO HARD THAT I CRINGED EVERY TIME. I WAS IN PAIN. OMG. I KEPT TELLING HER “SOFT LANG ATE MASAKIT!” BUT SHE KEEPS FORGETTING WHAT THE HECK?!?!?! I hate massages now.
I can’t believe I paid PHP300.00 for that. I hate it. Now my back is more painful than ever. And I saw a video on Youtube showing Ventusa massage (which shows blood being sucked out of the head) AND NOW I AM TRAUMATIZED. I shall never get a ventusa massage ever again…
WORST MASSAGE EVER.
Before I end this post, I wanna talk about something serious. I broke down last Sunday for reasons I cannot explain. It is perhaps because:
1) my monthly visitor is coming in a few days
2) the weather is so gloomy
3) my hormones are acting up
4) or I have been absorbing too much negativity recently
I hugged Mark and cried my eyes out just because I needed to. I won’t even go through details but there are times when you just have to cry and cry until the heavy feeling disappears off of your chest. It is important to have someone there for you, too! Which is why I thank Mark for always supporting me. Another person I would like to thank is Yhang, whom I consider my spiritual adviser. She is the most amazing person ever.
NEVER EVER BELIEVE PEOPLE WHEN THEY TELL YOU YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
They’re the last thing we all need.
Have a great night, dear readers!
