Day 2 in Cebu! Woke up at 9AM and got ready to go to the beach! Of course I had to go to the beach! I booked Vista Mar 2 weeks before my flight but later cancelled, and switched to Costabella. I don’t know, Vista Mar just lacked amenities (or perhaps their page in Agoda is not updated) I actually had tons of fun browsing hotels and resorts all over Cebu! We were also supposed to stay in Maribago Blue Waters Resort but it was FULLY BOOKED like oh my gosh. If you wanna know how much an overnight stay is at Costabella, it’s $110.00—discounted and all that.
While doing my makeup that morning…
Arrived at Costabella Tropical Beach Resort at around 11:30AM
I would never forget a hotel room tour!!!
Bathroom
Closet area
Beds (Standard Room)
Dresser and TV
Seating area
Balcony
Before heading out to have lunch and bask in the sun, Paulo and I filmed the BF TAG VIDEO & I did a clothes haul (which is not yet uploaded till now) All of this came from Coco Cabana, except for the shades, blue maxi and red top.
Watch the BF Tag Video here:
Before heading to the beach area. First outfit was the teal dress from Coco Cabana
Look how happy he is!
Photo of the beach that I took with Instagram
Went to Brisa for lunch
Paulo’s mocha frappe
Mango-banana smoothie pour moi
Adobo rice which Paulo had (ridiculously small serving and ridiculously expensive)
My Pad Thai! *Almost choked for a while there because some of the noodles were barely cooked!
After eating, we went to bask in the sun! White sand, blue ocean…it was perfect.
More Instagram photos of the beautiful scenery
Swimsuit #1 was the purple bikini from Coco Cabana.
The sun was blazing hot but I didn’t get sunburned AT ALL! No tan lines or anything. To think I didn’t even put that much sunscreen.
Beachfront hotel (I wish we booked a room here instead!) Our view wasn’t that nice. We actually didn’t have a view. Hahaha!
Put my hair down from a half-day bun and voila!
I could stay under there forever!!! I wonder what those trees are… Oh yeah, my bag is from Bagelya by Ela.
Not crowded
Crystal clear waters
Wi-fi at the beach!!!
We went back to the room to rest for a while and woke up at around 7:30 for dinner
There was only one restaurant open that night—La Marina. Initially, I wanted to order food from outside but the hotel did not permit.
Let me tell you something about La Marina…you pay with gold in exchange for food. Everything was SO pricey!
I did love the interiors, though. Very cozy, very peaceful. And look at those lights!
Oh you have to be careful because there are mosquitos! Wearing a maxi dress helped, but then again my arms got bitten.
He’s a copycat. So we were both wearing blue.
Let me show you the food!
Tinola for PHP 295
One small cup of rice for PHP 50. (50?!) Yes, you read that right!
BBQ Platter for 595 (more or less)
I wasn’t entirely satisfied of the meal but it was good enough.
We cancelled our plan of night swimming because the pool closed at 9PM.
