First Trip to Davao City!

Hi everyone! I’m back to tell you all about my first trip to a city I’ve never been to—DAVAO CITY!

If you’re more into photos and text, read on! If not, watch the vlogs above. :)

I had a few minutes to spare before my flight so I went to the food area at the airport and got myself a Kopi Coffee and french toasts at Kopi Roti. I didn’t really finish the coffee because it was too hot! And the toasts didn’t taste that great, either.

It was not quite the weather I expected it to be. This was the view I had from my window seat.

Up in the sky! Thank goodness for no turbulence! My flight was rather uncomfortable, the baby behind me screamed and cried for a good 45 minutes and I just couldn’t seem to get comfortable in my seat!

Arrived in Davao safely at 12:19! Had to get my luggage.

Chedelyn’s best friend Olga, and her sister Marla, fetched me from the airport and we went to Harana for lunch!

Beautiful place! I love all the greens!

This is seriously THE BEST fried chicken I have tried!!! Flavor on the skin and the insides! YUM!

Of course, I had to try their spareribs. It was cooked to perfection!!!!!! I LOVE SPARERIBS!

DSC_0021

A bangus dish which was also really good!

Tried out DURIAN SHAKE for the very first time! THIS IS SO GOOD!! Very milky and extremely tasty! I love it!

After lunch time, we went straight to Sampaguita Inn where I stayed the night. This is what my room looked like:

Pardon my things already laid out on the bed (hehe) I had a simple bed. NO BLANKET!!! I had to turn off the airconditioning that night because I didn’t have any blanket and it was chilly!

DSC_0027

We have a simple table by the side with a mirror on the wall.

DSC_0028

Cable TV which I didn’t use because you have to deposit PHP500.00 for the remote control! A mini airconditioning unit at the back, and no view from the window.

Pretty regular bathroom. I got freaked out by the windows when I showered that night.

Work started at around 3PM! We went to Davao Convention Center and I met a lot of beautiful people! Read more about the meet and greet here: http://saytiocoartillero.blogspot.com/2013/08/visiting-davao-city-kadayawan-meet.html

I met fellow Youtubers Anne and Karla!! They patiently waited for my work hours to end for us to go out for dinner! Sweetiebears.

Snack time! Carbonara and a bottle of DURIAN SHAKE omg I just had to get another one. Although this doesn’t compare to the one I had earlier at Harana!

Work ended at around 7:30 and Karla, Anne, and myself headed out for dinner.

I spotted DURIAN ON THE STREETS! Cool beans. I’ve never tried durian before. And I promised I would, on my last day in Davao.
